Muslim faithful across Nigeria have used the celebration of Eid-El-Kabri to again advocate for peace, love and unity among one another in the country.
The call was made during the 2026 Salah celebration where some muslim faithful pointed out the significance of the festival as a legacy laid down by the founder of the faith, Prophet Muhammed.
Speaking toward the importance of the celebration was Alhaji Yekinin Bakare, the Baba Adinin of Eyi-Osa, who described the festival as a time to show love toward one another.

"Let us use this celebration to show love to ourselves, let those that have give to those who don't have, by doing so, we are doing the will of God. He also urged political office holders to listen to the yearnings of the masses by initiating masses friendly economic policy that will bring growth to the society.
While speaking with Africa Network News, Hon. Babajide Obanikoro also in his message, pointed out the significance of Salah celebration as a charge to remain humble, selfless steadfast, resilient and show love to one another in the society. He emphasized on the importance of unity and love as key to national development.
