Eid-El-Kabri Signifies Communal Cohesion, Love And Sacrifice, Says Lagos LG Boss



In the atmosphere of Eid-El-Kabri which marks the yearly traditional practice by all muslim faith, t
he Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor Jubril Emilagba, has used the moment to appreciate Allah's unconditional love and mercy toward humanity which he said should be replicated in every neighborhood. 

While speaking with journalists in his Lagos residence, the Lagos  Mainland LG  boss said "Let us see Eid-El-Kabri celebration as a reminder of unity, peace, and communal bonding that should guide leaders and citizens alike. This is why you can see me and my local government people rejoicing together irrespective of their faith"

Honorable Emilagba, further emphasized on the need for humility and selfless service to the people as it is a key determinant to societal growth.

He also pointed out some  of the dividends of democracy which the people of Lagos mainland local government have enjoyed since the inception of his administration which he also promised to do more.

"Some of our dividends of democracy include: improved road networks, health interventions, and food distribution during Ramadan and Lenten period He added that plans are also  in place to extend similar support to traditional worshippers"

The local government boss also  gave assurance on his readiness to mobilize massive  support to all the APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
