I remain National President of NURTW, Says MC Oluomo.

Amid the ongoing leadership tussle within the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the invasion of its national secretariat in Abuja, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has defended his claim to the position of National President following moves by Tajudeen Baruwa to assume control of the union.

Baruwa and his supporters had in the early hours of Monday, stormed the national secretariat, claiming that his actions were backed by two court judgments delivered in his favour.

He had also claimed to have written the Nigerian Police to facilitate the recovery of its secretariat but lamented that the responses were not encouraging, prompting him and his supporters to engage in a “peaceful manner.”
