As Nigeria joins rest of the world to celebrate another Eid-El-Mbarak, Muslim faithful in the country have called on the need to show love among one another as well as live on peace and unity for the socio-economic growth of the country.
In his message, the Balogun of Ajiran in Ajah area of Lagos, Alhaji Yekini Bakare said the significance of Sallah celebration is to learn how to persevere and show love to one another."Let us forgive and love one another, and be patient in all we do, we need to be patient with the government as well and pray for our leaders for God to guide them with wisdom to lead the country to a greater height"
Alhaji Bakare also urged the youth to remain resilient and remain focus as to achieve the goals in life as there is no short cut to success. "You can not get all the money of this life overnight, you have to exercise patience and be committed to all you do".
Also in his Sallah message, the chairman Oguns Investment, Alhaji Ogunbiyj stressed on the need to inculcate the habit of fulfilling promises made. "When as a leader, you make a promise, endeavor to fulfill it, as promise is debt that needs to be paid"
He added, Sallah celebration is also to show love to one another by giving to each other. "When you have , give to those who do not have"
A former house of representatives member, Honorable Bajide Obanikoro also in his message emphasized on the need to be trust worthy among one another in the country.
"The Sallah celebration signifies truth, love and unity, for any nation to grow, there should be all these attributes among the citizens. The citizens should also continue to support the government in its efforts to improve the socio-economic state of the country
