Today, “I participated in the annual Lagos #TreePlantingDay2024 event, themed "Nurture Our Future."

This event, organized by the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) under the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, holds great significance in fostering a sense of unity and responsibility within the community.

The core objective of this initiative is to bring people together in a shared mission to protect our environment for the benefit of future generations. 

LASPARK, operating under the ministry's guidance, has been given a mandate to plant 20,000 trees over the next year. This ambitious target reflects a commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

Planting trees not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our surroundings but also plays a vital role in preserving the balance of our ecosystem. 

This event serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to nurture a better future for generations to come.
