Lagos records 24 deaths due to cholera outbreak



 

The Lagos Commissioner of Health, Akin Abayomi, has said that it has recorded a total of 35 confirmed cases and 24 deaths due to the outbreak of cholera in the state as of Thursday, June 20. 

Giving a report on the outbreak, Abayomi on his X handle wrote: “Lagos State Cholera Outbreak Sitiation Report  as at 19th of June, 2024. 

“The situation report lndicates;

👉417 suspected cases, 

👉35 confirmed cases, and

👉total of 24 recorded deaths.


“The graphs depict the distribution of cases across the 20 LGAs in the state.”
