Check the 11 US Presidents who failed to get Re-elected

As Joe Biden became the 46th President of the United State of America  by defeating Donald Trump, record has also shown some former leaders who could not make their second term into the White House 

Trump is not alone on the list of US presidents, who lost second term bids, although he’s the first president in 30 decades to lose reelection.


Below are other US presidents who didn’t get reelected:

1. John Adams (1797-1801), became the 2nd president of US.













2. John Quincy Adams (1825-1829), became the 6th President of the US.













3. Martin Van Buren (1837-1841), became the 8th President of the US.













4. Grover Cleveland (1885-1889), became the 22nd President of the US

7. Herbert Hoover (1929-1933), became the 31st President of the US











8. Gerald Ford (1974-1977), became the 38th President of the US













9. Jimmy Carter (1977-1981), became the 39th President of the US.













10. George H.W. Bush (1989-1993), became 41st President of the US













11. Donald Trump (2017- 2021), became the 45th President of the US and the first President who failed to witness the inauguration of his successor.
